I came to St. Petersburg in 2019, and now I often live in this city. I always choose an apartment in the Central District and walk a lot. St. Petersburg has many creative people, and I like that. Not included in the route, but I simply recommend visiting: Peter the Great Botanical Garden, Nelson's Courtyard, the bars on Nekrasova Street, the Marina Gisich gallery, and Yelagin Island. And I recommend having a picnic on the Field of Mars in summer.

Stroll through the park and enjoy the beautiful views. Take in an exhibition or a concert. Go ice skating in winter (on a specially equipped rink). Play on the playgrounds. Have lunch or a coffee at one of the many restaurants and cafés. Sunbathe on the lawns in summer. Visit the historic buildings, restored and adapted for new uses. The space is open year-round, but the opening hours of individual venues may change depending on the season and events. It's a good idea to check the official website.

Author's Recommendation

Lots of cafés and shops, and in summer you can watch open-air movies completely free. It's nice to stroll, sit, or lie on the grass.
