What Makes Such Places Special
In some spots there may be thickets of ferns and moss (in the hollows) and forest paths, sometimes leading to springs or old clearings. In places like this, wild animals (hares, foxes, and less often roe deer) may appear from the forest. In winter the area is a snowy wasteland; in summer ears of grain, fodder grasses, and potato plants come up, and wildflowers may bloom too: daisies, cornflowers, and alfalfa. This section of the route combines natural beauty (forest and open space) with elements of rural infrastructure. It suits both a short stop and a longer exploration of the landscape, depending on the traveler's interests.
