Teriberka is a small settlement on the Kola Peninsula that has become a true gem for travelers. On this route you'll understand why the village became the most Instagrammable place in Russia and feel the atmosphere of a real “edge of the earth.” Even the most demanding foodies will be delighted by the fresh local sea urchins and scallops. And with a bit of luck you can photograph real whales, seals and, of course, a sky lit up by the northern lights.

A “Game of Thrones” Throne

Every self-respecting “Game of Thrones” fan should know that some scenes were filmed in the harsh climate of the Kola Peninsula. Well, almost. The throne built in 2021 from Teriberka driftwood really does look a lot like the Iron Throne of a thousand swords that appeared on screen so many times. The throne is over 4 meters (13 feet) tall and weighs about 700 kilograms (1,500 pounds). It was made for the winner of the Strongman World Cup, David Shamey. Now anyone can feel like a champion or Daenerys Targaryen.
