Historical Background
This chapel is dedicated to St. Cyril of Novoezersk, an Orthodox saint venerated as a wonderworker. It is a working octagonal brick chapel with a tent roof, an architectural monument from the second half of the 19th century. Its sides are decorated with blind windows and pilasters*. *A pilaster is a flat vertical projection of a wall that imitates a column.
