Historical Background
Built in the 1900s on Rauschen's promenade street, the Seestern (“Sea Star”) Hotel was a perfect example of resort construction at the very peak of the town's development. Alas, after World War I resort life almost died out. In 1918 the state bought the hotel and renamed it the Prussian Court (Preußischer Hof).
