Historical Background
The second floor of the merchant A. K. Moskvin's house was home to the Daryaly cinema. Its owner was A. M. Sultanov, who had moved to Ryazan from Tiflis Governorate. Sultanov lured the public to the Daryaly with low ticket prices and the first snack bar in Ryazan attached to a movie theater. They say it was Sultanov who introduced the people of Ryazan to real Georgian shashlik grilled over charcoal.
